Parents Connecting Against Autism, LLC
Lisa Fulton is a dedicated advocate for children with autism and learning disabilities, passionately supporting families as they navigate these complex challenges across diverse communities and educational settings globally. Her advocacy extends to children protected under Section 504 of the U.S. Department of Education. Lisa’s journey began when her son, Dana, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, igniting her commitment to champion the rights and welfare of not only her son but countless others facing similar circumstances.
While learning to navigate Dana’s life and educational needs, Lisa formed Parents Connecting Against Autism, LLC. (PCAAT) The mission of PCAAT is the pursuit of the following principles: Awareness, Assistance, and Advocacy in Special Education as well as all persons with a disability.
Lisa’s friendly and approachable nature allows her to connect effortlessly with autistic children, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. She strongly believes in focusing on each child’s unique strengths and abilities, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that celebrates diversity, particularly in educational settings.
As a creative problem solver, Lisa continuously seeks innovative approaches to support the needs of autistic children. From designing personalized learning strategies to organizing enriching sensory experiences, she leaves no stone unturned in her quest to ensure a brighter future for these remarkable individuals.
With her warm and friendly demeanor, Lisa empowers families, educators, and communities to embrace and support autistic children fully. She believes in the power of collaboration and actively encourages partnerships between parents, educators, and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive support networks.
